We’re closing this year with a new look for the Coloradan, one that better reflects who we are as a university and as a Forever Buffs family. From a fascinating view of Monsters University through the eyes of Lee Rase (Film’00) to the alumni story behind Post-it notes, we hope you feel a renewed sense of wonder as you turn the pages.

We’re often asked why our magazine is such an unusual size. The answer has to do with our commitment to sustainability. It reduces the amount of paper we would use by 47 percent and enables us to reach our 220,000 readers by mailing at the cost-effective letter rate.

We always aim to tell stories that matter to you intellectually and emotionally to reconnect you to the university community. To this end I ask that you consider supporting the production of your award-winning magazine. Your tax-deductible gift — see the enclosed insert — not only supports the magazine but affirms your stake in the university’s future.
