Founded in 1849, Boulder joyously celebrated its 150-year anniversary on Feb. 10. The Old Main bell joined many church bells, as well as individuals ringing bells on campus and on the Pearl Street Mall, to mark the anniversary. On the heels of the city’s founding came CU — established in 1876. This photo shows construction workers doing road grading on Broadway circa 1892.
