Media artists Ernst Karel (Harvard Sensory Ethnography Lab) and Helen Mirra visited the Department of Critical Media Practices at CU-Boulder in February to hold exhibitions and workshops in sound ethnography.  The exhibitions included the films The Iron Ministry, Single Stream and Ah Humanity!, and the sound installations included Hourly Directional Sound Recording, Mata Atlantica and Arizonan Sonoran Desert.  Karel and Mirra also held workshops for DCMP students and faculty.
