  • PostDoctoral Associate
  • HYPERSONIC SYSTEMS

Rajath Shetty holds a BS in Physics and Math from the University of Maryland, College Park and a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech. His doctoral work involved developing and conducting CFD simulations on NRPD (Nanosecond Repetitive Pulsed Discharges) and how plasmas generated by these discharges can improve combustion characteristics inside scramjet combustors. Rajath is now a Postdoctoral Associate at the Center for National Security Initiatives (NSI) at the University of Colorado Boulder. At NSI, Rajath works on conducting FSTI (Fluid-Structure-Thermal-Interaction) simulations of inlets for air-breathing hypersonic propulsion.
