Dr. Sega founded the CSU Systems Engineering program in 2007 after serving as Under Secretary of the Air Force and Director of Defense Research and Engineering (DDR&E). He flew two NASA missions on the space shuttle Discovery in 1994 and as payload commander for the third shuttle/Mir docking mission aboard Atlantis in 1996.
