Eugene Wackerbarth joins CU Boulder from San Diego where he previously worked as a signal processing engineer within the electronic warfare division at Leidos. At Leidos, his work mostly focused on modeling novel radar signal processing algorithms in various environments. Eugene earned his bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of San Diego in 2018. While at USD, he conducted research in Dr. Greg Severn’s low temperature plasma physics laboratory. In his free time, Eugene also enjoys playing tennis, hiking, and skiing.
