Brian Sweeney
- PostDoctoral Associate
- SPACE DOMAIN AWARENESS
Dr. Brian Sweeney received his B.S. in Applied Mathematics, B.S. in Economics, and M.A. in Mathematics from Arizona State University. He graduated with his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Arizona State University in 2025. His graduate research focused on numerical linear algebra and solving computational inverse problems such as image deblurring. In his doctoral thesis, he developed efficient iterative methods for sparsity-preserving inverse problems that utilize matrix decompositions and exploit matrix structures. Brian now works as a Postdoctoral Associate for the Center for National Security Initiatives in the field of space domain awareness.
