Zachary Kambour

When I participated in this project with the Seattle Symphony I always felt this sense of uncontrollable joy. Each year after the lullaby project I had to go teach private lessons and I remember thinking that I didn't want to go teach that day because I felt so good, I just wanted to go home and bask in that feeling. I hope to experience those same feelings through the Colorado Lullaby Project.

Zachary Kambour is a two-time Downbeat award-winning percussionist from Miami, Florida. He is currently pursuing his master’s in music education degree at the University of Colorado Boulder. He received his BM in music education from Willamette University. When he completes his degree, Mr. Kambour hopes to teach middle school band. In his free time, Mr. Kambour enjoys reading, watching baseball, hiking, fishing, snorkeling, and scuba diving.
