- BUENO CENTER

Jessely is a passionate advocate for language justice and an unwavering supporter of migrant communities. As the daughter of immigrant parents from Chihuahua, Mexico, her personal experiences with isolation in school because Spanish was her home language ignited her commitment to equity and inclusion. After earning her B.A. in Ethnic Studies from Colorado State University she recently completed her MA in Human Development and Family Sciences at the University of Colorado Denver.
Jessely dedicates her work to serving migrant students and families through BUENO CAMP, where she channels her life experiences into fostering a more just, educational environment. In her free time, she loves traveling, spending time with family, and indulging in her favorite treats: chocolate and ice cream.
