Jason Romero, Jr.
Director, Chicano & Latino History Project

Jason is the Directory of the Latino History Project. Originally from Pueblo, CO, Jason has been dedicated to transforming educational institutions and experiences through the use of Chicano and Ethnic Studies. In addition to his work with the Chicano & Latino History Project, Jason is also the founder and co-director of the Aquetza: Youth Leadership, Education and Empowerment program and has been a high school Chicano Studies teacher in southwest Denver since 2014. Jason received an Associate of Arts degree from Pueblo Community College before attending the University of Colorado Boulder where he received a BA in Ethnic Studies and an MA in Curriculum and Instruction.
