Advertising

  • Saw a lot of advertising via social media, on campus, and heard of advertising through word of mouth

  • Might have also seen digital advertising in the UMC

Logistics

  • Bachata instructor was leading the dance, people were either dancing or talking with each other

  • Nice decorations

  • Turnout was pretty good

  • Filled up a good portion of the venue

  • There was a good mix of students and community members

Content

  • Event was still happening a little after 10PM

  • Was a little confusing because people were still dancing while others were cleaning up the event

  • Bachata instructor was intense, but in a way that was enjoyable for the attendees

  • As the event went on, the overall structure of the event degraded

  • There was a presentation explaining the cultural relevance of the event and an ROD

  • Event was short, but informative

  • Presentation talked about the event in general as well as the instructor

Future Notes

  • Try to be more punctual when it comes to logistics things
