  • Shouldn’t need SOAC logo
  • Consider rewording some verbiage for effectiveness - “Africa is on fire”
  • Pictures that are AI seem a little off from these issues that are affecting real people
  • Consider putting the words on the Ethiopia slide together rather than separated
  • General consistent formatting
  • For Congo, is there a more direct resource to help than the ACC in Colorado?
  • More consistency in information provided
  • Some give information about why the issues are happening, but not all and it may be helpful
  • Abbreviations may be harder to understand for people that are not familiar with the conflicts
  • QR codes with a more thorough explanation/linked to the resources rather than having to type out the links 
  • Link resources for ALL conflicts listed
  • What’s the plan? Passively handing out handouts or going through it/incorporate it into the MC portion where people discuss the issues

  1. Due to the unavailability of certain items, we had originally planned to purchase for decorations, we will not be using the full $501 that was approved. Would it be possible to reallocate the remaining funds toward purchasing essential items like compostable plates, utensils, napkins, and other necessary supplies?
  1. It is possible, if they get us a specific amount and specific items to fund.
  1. Would it be possible to increase the food budget by 15% to include a tip for the caterer?
