Budgetary Questions/Comments
When/Where is your workshop going to take place
If your workshop isn’t open to all students (takes place before the event for performers only), we can’t fund it…
For future: Consider bringing someone other than Franklin as the MC for your event and this is his second
Ask for additional info on performers ( no impact on funding)
Motion to approve $8,814.54 for VeRVE Collisionz’s event “VeRVE Collisionz Street Dance Competition.”

PC
Depending on who PC brings it could be relevant to the CEB Mission
PC wins
Old Business
Second Funding Cycle
Nepalese Student Association “NSA Talent Show,” November 19th 5:00-8:00 PM, Glenn Miller Ballroom
Taylor and Allie
Advertising
They tabled!
Instagram stories
UMC posters, not as many across campus
Logistics
Started about 20 minutes late
Good turn out
Not enough chairs/tables
Maybe more people show up then planning on it
Mics were acting up a little bit
Ended at 7:30 instead of 8 PM
Content
The MCs did a really, really great job
Good variety in their performances
Maybe represent more of the countries around Nepal
Got to see performances twice because of ISA lol
Very curious audience member
Future Notes
Glenn Miller Step is going to kill someone
Let us know if there’re timing changes
Overall communication needs to be better
Did you get your reimbursements in?
Performances on stage can be hard to see
Good survey turnout
You can get food that’s not just food and chai
Indian Student Association “Diwali,” November 19th 4:00-9:00 PM, Lower Rec Center
Teagan and Aneesh
Advertising
Did see ads in the Rec center, so it was probably in UMC
Did not see poster
Documenting what was happening at the event
Logistics
All of them were grad students
At least 400 attended
Started 30 minutes late
People didn’t show up until 5 PM or later
Ended exactly on time
Ran out of food…
Ran out of most dishes
The allotment of food was weird
Need to talk to vender about how much they were given
Organization of the food was not good
People were in line for 7 million years - Allie
Chairs, yesssssss!!!!!
ISA and NSA were at the same time
Performers were the same at both events and running between them
Shouldn’t be an issue if they do the funding request on time next year
Better utilization of the space with decorations
Content
Date didn’t line up with holiday
None of the events are for the majority of people
The event was not the most accessible to people who are not Desi
For people who are not already knowledgeable about Indian culture, it would seem kinda just like a party
The DJ sucked
Stop skipping songs 30 seconds in…
Future Notes
Plan it out ahead of time so the event is on the actual date…
