      1. Mission Statement:

        1. The Cultural Events Board aims to broaden cultural knowledge by supporting the voices of underrepresented and misrepresented groups on campus, thereby promoting student engagement with their platforms. The Cultural Events Board encourages opportunities for interaction among students resulting in respect, appreciation, and understanding for cultural differences.

          1.  Considering that this is the same event that was proposed last semester, what measures are being taken to avoid the issues that stopped this event from happening this semester?

            1. Biggest reason that stopped this year’s yardshow was due to miscommunication with the Homecoming committee. This time they have settled on a date that works for multiple organizations.

          2. A large portion of your marketing from last semester was somewhat dependent on being a part of Homecoming. How will you ensure that there is still a large turnout without that factor?

            1. Advertising through the university

            2. Also relying on historic turnout

          3. How will you ensure that this event is open to and targeted towards the general student body
