Siwani joined the LAIR group in January 2023 as a professional research assistant. She earned her B.S. in Aerospace Engineering at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. Before coming to CU Boulder, she worked as a Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin for several large satellite programs and proposals through a leadership development rotational program. Her professional interests are now project management and being the cross-section between cost, schedule, and technical aspects of missions. Within the LAIR team, Siwani is a project manager for several of the projects run by LAIR (currently the CubeSats CANVAS, COSMO, and AEPEX, as well as the ionosphere ground campaign AVID). Outside of work, Siwani spends most of her time outdoors. She enjoys running, biking, snowboarding, and getting out of her comfort zone to train for her next adventure.
