Alex Shane is a postdoctoral associate at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He received joint PhDs in Climate and Space Sciences and Scientific Computing at the University of Michigan in 2022. His research interests include numerical modeling, data-model comparisons, electron transport, and wave-particle interactions. Outside the office he enjoys playing soccer, disc golf, and chess.
