Hive Tech Solutions (2016) joined Catalyze CU after winning the campus New Venture Challenge in 2016. They created a hive monitoring and management technology that will help beekeepers and agricultural operations improve bee surival rates and manage larger populations with increased efficiency. They design smart beehives as well as gather the data collected. They were awarded an NSF sponsor SBIR grant in spring 2017.
