HiveTech Solutions joined Catalyze CU after winning New Venture Challenge 8. They created a hive monitoring and management technology that will help beekeepers and agricultural operations improve bee surival rates and manage larger populations with increased efficiency. They design smart beehives as well as gather the data collected. They were awarded an NSF-sponsored SBIR grant in spring 2017.
