In the class, held June 12–14, 2019, Tim Magee and Mitch Clement of CADSWES introduced attendees to RiverWare optimization concepts and applications and facilitated hands-on exercises using sample models.

CADSWES is pleased to announce RiverWare version 7.5, available June 6, 2019. Highlights include: usability improvements for the workspace and the DMI connection to Excel; multiple enhancements to scripts, RPL predefined functions, and the model comparison tool; and a new, HTML-based documentation set.

Edie Zagona Co-authors Study Evaluating Impacts of Cooperation in Blue Nile Basin

"Quantifying and Evaluating the Impacts of Cooperation in Transboundary River Basins on the Water-Energy-Food Nexus: The Blue Nile Basin," was published in Science of the Total Environment, July 15, 2018. The study uses a daily simulation model to explore the effects of three cooperation states on the economic gain of the Blue Nile Basin.
