With a recent investment, this space will support biological lab courses and projects.

Students will gain fundamental laboratory techniques used in biomedical engineering in this space that may include: cell and tissue culture; hydrogel and biomaterial characterization; and essential rheological and mechanical testing methods with the goal of developing core experimental skills, proper laboratory practice, and an understanding of how measurements inform biomaterials and tissue engineering applications within the broader context of regulatory constraints and translation from bench to clinic.
