Dawn Fettig
Associate Director of Special Populations & Advising Supervisor of the Biologies • (she/her/hers)

Dawn Fettig started at CU in 1999 in the department of Integrative Physiology (then named Kinesiology). She currently serves as an Associate Director of Academic Advising in the College of Arts & Sciences. Special Student Populations include international students, military affiliated students, adult learners and students returning to CU after lengthy absences. Dawn enjoys the variety of experience these student populations bring to her work.

In addition to advising the above student populations, Dawn provides leadership for the team of advisors in the Biological Sciences.

Dawn has been an active member of NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising for several years. She has held NACADA positions such as Colorado Liaison, Rocky Mountain Region 10 Chair, the Annual Conference Chair for 2011 (which was held in Denver), the Annual Conference Advisory Board, the Academic Advising Consulting and Speaker Service Advisory Board, and the NACADA Board of Directors.

On her days off Dawn enjoys camping and hiking all across the United States with her husband and kids.
