Boulder Chickadee Study Field Assistant [Job]

The Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology invites applications for a Boulder Chickadee Study Field Assistant!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor chickadee breeding in established nest boxes from Boulder to the Mountain Research Station.
  • Assist in capturing, banding, and bleeding chickadees.
  • Conduct behavioral observations of banded individuals.
  • Help enter and proof data (i.e., data curation and management).
  • Have attention to detail and take pride in their work.
  • Have an interest in the study system and the research questions of the Taylor Lab.
  • Work well in group settings and have excellent communication skills.
  • Be respectful to all persons.

Pay rate is $17/hour.

Bachelor's degree required.
