Boulder Chickadee Study Field Assistant [Job]
The Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology invites applications for a Boulder Chickadee Study Field Assistant!
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor chickadee breeding in established nest boxes from Boulder to the Mountain Research Station.
- Assist in capturing, banding, and bleeding chickadees.
- Conduct behavioral observations of banded individuals.
- Help enter and proof data (i.e., data curation and management).
- Have attention to detail and take pride in their work.
- Have an interest in the study system and the research questions of the Taylor Lab.
- Work well in group settings and have excellent communication skills.
- Be respectful to all persons.
Pay rate is $17/hour.
Bachelor's degree required.
