Dear Future Physicians and Health Care Professionals,

We wanted to remind you that the deadline for early bird discount registration and need-based scholarship application for the University of Colorado School of Medicine January Emergency & Wilderness Medicine Pre-Med class is this coming Sunday (Oct. 31).

To register or to apply for the scholarships (covering 100% of our tuition and fees) please use the website.

We also still have openings in our December (15-23) 2021 Costa Rica Wilderness Medicine & Global Health Class. More information about this class can be found here. Please note that to join this class, you will need to submit the full balance at this time.

Why enroll in one of these classes?

  • Classes are taught by University of Colorado School of Medicine faculty
  • Earn certificates in Wilderness First Responder, CPR, Stop the Bleed, and, for Costa Rica classes, Global Health
  • Participate in med school labs including ultrasound, suturing, cardiac dissection, and splinting (depending on location)
  • Enjoy adventure activities including hikes, climbs, whitewater rafting, snowshoeing, zip lining, etc. (depending on location)
  • Learn practical, hands-on skills while meeting fellow pre-health students from around the country (and sometimes world)
  • Give yourself a competitive advantage when applying to med school or other health profession programs.

Also, please note that we just unveiled a whole new round of virtual shadowing videos.  You can watch all of these for free and/or sign up for a University of Colorado School of Medicine certificate for a modest fee. Find out more here.
