Our program at the Colorado Center for Medical Laboratory Science (CCMLS) is the largest provider of post-bachelor degree training in medical laboratory science in the region. We have been serving our community of Denver and the Rocky Mountains for over 55 years. Our program begins next year on June 8th , 2022 and will end the following May 2023. Graduation from our program results in eligibility to sit for national certification through the American Society for Clinical Pathology. Graduates are then qualified to work in the nation’s clinical, molecular, and microbiology laboratories located in hospitals and reference sites.
Medical Laboratory Scientists make up the 3rd largest group of healthcare professionals working within hospitals. We are currently accepting applications now for the June 2022 start date in our post-baccalaureate professional program in medical laboratory science. This Fall is an excellent time for students to apply. We recommend starting the Fall prior to the Summer start date they’re interested in so they can complete the application process in a timely manner, and so they can take additional coursework if needed to meet our MAR.
