Since 2013, the Colorado BioScience Institute’s Mentor Program has paired junior and senior level undergraduate students with professionals in the life science industry. During the academic year, students and mentors meet for the purpose of professional development, hands-on interactions, and networking with leaders in the field.

The 2021-2022 Mentor Program utilizes a hybrid model to include virtual and in-person aspects. The Institute continues to connect students to mentors in a digital format and brings back in-person elements
for the 2021-2022 program.

Mentor Program brings you:

  • Professional & Career Development – Students will be provided with the opportunity to gain an understanding of what it means to be a life science professional in a working environment across a variety of companies in various stages of their growth.
  • Skills & Education Enhancement – The program strives to bridge the gap between university knowledge and the reality of industry by providing access to company environments.
  • Leadership Development – Established industry experts can demonstrate and share expertise with the next generation of life science leaders.

Applications for the 2021-2022 Hybrid Mentor Program are open from September 1, 2021 - September 30, 2021.
