CU Boulder Vaccine Distribution Volunteers Needed
CU Boulder has begun to receive the COVID-19 vaccine from the state of Colorado. These vaccines will be distributed and offered to members of the CU community following state phases of eligibility. . The Pandemic Response Office is in need of volunteers to assist at vaccine sites. Please review the volunteer role description below prior to signing up:

Vaccine Clinic Volunteer
Vaccine Clinic volunteers will be assisting with wayfinding and directional support in and around the designated vaccination site. They will be available to assist scheduled vaccine recipients, to answer questions about the process and to direct people where to go to receive the vaccine. In addition, volunteers may be asked to perform tasks as needed such as reviewing forms for completion, providing instructions, and disinfecting clipboards and pens (gloves provided).
Due to the nature of the role, volunteers will be expected to move around to direct others to relevant areas of the vaccine distribution area. The role might also include outdoor elements. Since the weather in Colorado can be unpredictable, we encourage volunteers to dress for cold weather and be prepared for any weather conditions that may arise.
Health and Safety
Due to health and safety guidelines for campus, all volunteer roles for open only to current CU students, staff and faculty.
We will follow all university and Boulder County health and safety protocols:
- Adhere to physical distancing and stay 6 feet apart
- Face covering required
- Wash your hands and/or use hand sanitizer frequently
- Stay home if you are sick
Volunteers must provide their own face mask. Gloves will be provided at the site upon request.
Volunteer Waiver
Please read and review the volunteer waiver below. All volunteers, except for CU Staff and Faculty volunteering as part of their work hours, will need to agree to the volunteer waiver prior to their shift.
Confidentiality Agreement
Please review the attached confidentiality agreement. You and print one out and bring a signed copy with you to your volunteer shift or sign an agreement in person at the start of your shift.
Volunteer Disclaimer
All volunteer shifts are subject to change or cancellation based on vaccine supply availability. We will try to provide 24 hours’ notice on all cancelled volunteer shifts.
