Are you interested in STEM research as an undergraduate? Do you want to know the benefits of conducting research? Do you want to know the available funding/credit options? Want to know how to get started?
Meet with a BSI Scholar Ambassador - BSI has a team of undergraduate researchers that can meet with students one-on-one to offer advice and support. Students will learn about undergraduate research that includes funding, credit, benefits and how to get involved. Ambassadors available over the winter break.

The BSI Scholar Ambassadors would like to get to know you. This year we will hosts meals over Zoom where you can learn more about our Ambassadors, including about their research. This is great way to meet other STEM students and make some connections. This is intended to be a casual interaction and help you expand your community. BSI Scholars in STEM Undergraduate Research – Summer 2021 applications available in January
Full-time undergraduate students conducting research in STEM labs who have not previously received funding through BSI (the Biological Sciences Initiative) are eligible to apply for grants of $2500 to support their research. Students must have the support of a lab to complete an application, and the application requires the mentor (faculty or postdoctoral researcher) to write a section of the application.
