The Houston Zoo has an amazing internship opportunity this summer for college freshman, sophomores, and juniors.  The Houston Zoo Collegiate Conservation Program is a 10-week internship sponsored by ExxonMobil.  The Zoo is committed to cultivating the next generation of conservation heroes.  Each summer 10 interns are selected to train, learn, and work at the Houston Zoo and at regional conservation partners.

We are looking for students who come from a variety of backgrounds, with different strengths and perspectives. While candidates don’t need to have a background in science or Zoos, they should have interest in saving animals in the wild no matter what future career they plan on.
