**Due to COVID-19 pandemic limitations, we regretfully cancelled our summer 2020 in-person research program.  We offered virtual internships, conducted a summer webinar series and have extended 2021 summer position offers to all of our 2020 class. For this reason, 2021 internship spaces may be limited. Additional information regarding the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus response to COVID-19 can be found here.**

The Gates Summer Internship Program (GSIP) hosted by the University of Colorado, Charles C. Gates Center for Regenerative Medicine.  The GSIP aims to encourage outstanding undergraduates to consider careers in stem cell research by providing state of the art laboratory training opportunities at the Gates Center. They take up to 20 undergraduates on a competitive basis to be trained in their laboratories for 11 weeks.

Interns will participate in program activities including conducting their own stem cell research project, attending a stem cell research seminar series, and presenting a talk or a poster on their own research at the end of the summer. They will also join in with networking and career development activities and fun week-end adventures to introduce them to Denver and Colorado. The summer interns will receive a stipend of $3,500 and paid parking or transportation for the duration of the program.

Please visit the GSIP website for inforamtion on how to apply and a list of mentors and their research.
