Jennie Norton Brucker arrived at CU Boulder in 2008, after leaving her East Coast life and former career as an employment and insurance defense attorney behind to move to sunny Colorado. For the last 8 years, she has been with the Office of Information Technology (OIT), first as the HR Manager and now as the Director of Employee and Customer Engagement. Prior to joining OIT, she served in a number of roles in Campus HR in the areas of Employee Relations, Affirmative Action and Discrimination and Harassment Investigations. Jennie has a B.A. in Political Science from Colgate University, a J.D. from Boston University and is a certified PHR, SHRM-CP and ProSci Change Management Practitioner. She lives in Boulder with her husband, Adam, and daughter, Poppy. In her free time, she enjoys biking, hiking, painting and sewing.
