Arts and Sciences Support of Education Through Technology (ASSETT) is committed to improving student learning. Through the development of programs and services that encourage innovation in teaching and learning, we seek to find (redundant I suggest removing the words in red) new ways to engage and empower students to take control of their own learning.

Our staff creates a robust set of education development programs and services that encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and community building for Arts and Sciences faculty and students.

Donors to ASSETT have several options to support. Please consider giving a gift in any amount to sustain our innovative programs that cultivate a vibrant approach to investigating new ways to create powerful learning environments for CU students.

ASSETT Innovation Incubator

The mission of the ASSETT Innovation Incubator is to improve the undergraduate experience by getting students engaged in active learning. We envision a diverse community of learners — composed of students, faculty, and staff — who are engaged in purposeful, collaborative, creative, and impactful learning experiences.

Participants in the ASSETT Innovation Incubator engage in:

  • Experimentation: Calculated risk-taking leads to unexpected discovery that can generate new knowledge and new ways of doing.
  • Failure: Valuable insights are gained, and exciting new directions taken when things “don’t work."
  • Emergence: New ideas need time to develop — oftentimes unexpectedly through both generative processes and surprising bursts.

By donating to the ASSETT Innovation Incubator, you will fuel new ideas for teaching and learning with technology that increase student inclusion and course accessibility—making a widespread, positive impact on the undergraduate experience.
