The Office of Information Technology is hiring students to work as in-class technology assistants for the fall 2020 semester. The student assistants will be assigned to help faculty members use classroom technology and to help facilitate remote students’ participation via Zoom. This is an undergraduate hourly position for up to 20 for hours per week, starting at $13 per hour. You will be required to work on campus until the university goes into remote-only teaching mode after Thanksgiving. Review the full posting (PDF).

OIT is also hiring a graduate assistant to manage the technology assistants. This is a half-time position (20 hours per week), with tuition remission. The Manager of In-Class Technology Assistants will have supervisory responsibility for the students, including recruiting, hiring, scheduling, and ensuring they deliver a quality service to the faculty members being served.
