The Golden Buffalo Battalion commissioned twenty‑five Army ROTC graduates as Second Lieutenants in the United States Army. The Alpha Company ceremony was held in Hale Sciences. Family, friends, university leaders, and Army dignitaries gathered at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, May 9th, 2025, or tuned in via Zoom to witness the culmination of four years of academic rigor and leadership development.

After each cadet took the Oath of Office, some administered by family members, others by CPT McGuire and other cadre members, the newly commissioned officers received their gold bars, rendered their first salute, and presented the traditional silver dollar.
