It turned out to be a gorgeous day with highs in the mid 60’s, with not a cloud in the sky early on in the game. The Buffaloes were leading the Stanford Cardinals 10 to 6 at half-time. With the final score – CU Buffaloes 16 and the Stanford Cardinals 13.

During the first half of the game, fifty new recruits from the state of Colorado were sworn in to their respective military service units. And a multi-unit Color Guard presented the U.S. flag and each military unit’s flags during the national anthem before the start of the football game.
