A competition between the three military ROTC departments on campus (Army, Air Force and Navy/Marines) – Farrand Field – 17 October 2019:

For the fifth consecutive year the Golden Buffalo Battalion took home first place against CU Boulder Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps ROTC in the 2019 Tri-Military Service Competition. The annual event began at 3:30pm on Farrand Field with all ROTC units prepared for the competition. Roughly two hundred participants attended this year's event, with a small contingent of faculty that tested out their tenacity on the field.

The seven events that made up the competition required the participating Cadets and Midshipmen to put forth their best effort to meet the high physical and mental demands.

Events included a medical relay race, team murph relay, circuit station, tire flip/water can carry, pugil matches, sprint relay, and tug-of-war.

Congratulations to all the competitors that came out and gave it their all. And a special thanks to USAA for sponsoring our event again this year. We appreciate your support.
