Taylor Whitney Aegerter
Hello! My name is Taylor Whitney (or Taylor Whitney Aegerter). I am currently a first year graduate student in APS and a Captain in the United States Air Force. My research interests range from solar physics to planetary science, as well as the space physics in between. I have a B.S. in Meteorology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a M.S. in Applied Physics (specializing in Solar and Space Sciences) from the Air Force Institute of Technology. For my master's thesis, I analyzed solar photospheric data before and after solar flares to assess for trends. I also participated in an REU with the National Solar Observatory in Sunspot, NM, which inspired my undergraduate honors thesis.
