Susanne Byrd

I’m Susanne Byrd, an APS graduate student. I did my undergrad at the University of Iowa where I majored in physics and astronomy and did research on Mars’ induced magnetic field with Dr. Zach Girazian. Our work was recently published in JGR: Space Physics. In between undergrad and grad school I did a project analyzing data from high intensity substorm particle injections into Earth’s magnetosphere with Prof. Allison Jaynes, and we plan to submit the paper for that soon! Here in Boulder I plan to do research on Mars’ upper atmosphere.
