I work with Paul Hayne to develop models for small bodies, with a strong focus on modeling the thermal behavior of near-Earth asteroids (NEAs) and particularly binary asteroid systems. By leveraging model findings against observations from spacecraft and ground-based data, I aim to investigate open questions about the formation and evolution of these bodies. Additionally, I am an active member of NASA’s upcoming Janus mission, for which I am performing thermophysical modeling of both Janus target binary asteroids.
