I am currently working with Dr. Lauren Blum at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP) on the design of a particle detector to measure the energy deposited in the atmosphere by particle precipitation from the Van Allen Radiation Belts. This really affects the components of the Earth's atmosphere, especially ozone! I am also interested in wave-particle interaction and dusty plasmas, especially on the Moon. I did my undergraduate in Engineering Physics at the National University of Engineering in Lima-Peru. While there, I had the opportunity to do research abroad, such as in Mexico and Canada, which was key to keep dreaming of working in space, now I love what I am doing! I also always want to get involved in helping the community interested in space or aerospace sciences, especially the Hispanic community. I keep in touch with students at my home university! If you are interested in what I do, feel free to reach out!
