James Sayre

My work is in experimental cosmology, primarily observation and study of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) as a member of the South Pole Telescope collaboration.  I am currently analyzing polarized CMB data gathered by the SPTpol experiment, the development and deployment of which were the focus of my graduate work.  The other main aspect of my work is designing, building, and testing millimeter-wave instrumentation for current and future generations of telescopes.
