My main research area is data analysis and instrumentation within the planetary science field. I work at LASP - the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics - on CU East campus. In particular, I've used in-situ Mars Express data to look at atmospheric escape of O+ at Mars. I'm also on the LPW (Langmuir Probe) team for MAVEN, writing software and helping to validate the instrument.
I also play rugby for the local Boulder mens team (www.boulderrugby.com), ski, bike and own a Subaru, as is unofficially required by Colorado law.
