Mark Tibbitt, currently a postdoc in the Langer Group at MIT, was honored with the 2012 Outstanding Thesis Award by the Max Bergmann Center for Biomaterials in Dresdan, Germany. Mark's doctoral work focused on developing applications for a cytocompatible, photodegradable hydrogel. he will be honored at a ceremony in Dresdan September 17-18th so stop by if you're in the area to congratulate him.
