As international advocacy expert at IRCWASH, Elynn Walter leads the international component of the Watershed - empowering citizens strategic partnership between the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and IRC, Simavi, Wetlands International and Akvo. The programme seeks to deliver improvements in the governance and management of water, sanitation and hygiene services as well as of the water resources on which they draw. The partnership will do this at the international level and in Kenya, Uganda and four additional countries by strengthening the capacity of national civil society to lobby government and other WASH duty bearers. With an extended experience on international operational, consulting and research, she specializes in WASH projects within a framework of sustainability and integrated water management.
