Two-week closure of Euclid Parking Garage to begin May 24
The Euclid Parking Garage will undergo a scheduled closure from May 24 to June 9 to accommodate continued construction of the new Center for Academic Success and Engagement (CASE) building atop the garage.
The brief closure will allow CASE construction crews to complete interior work in the garage, masonry and flatwork at the automobile entrance and utility work outside the pedestrian exits.
The garage will re-open at noon on June 9 with a different arrangement for pedestrian exits. When the garage re-opens, the northeast and southeast exits will be open. However, the northwest exit will remain closed through June and into July as crews complete work there. As the CASE project progresses, at least two pedestrian exits will be maintained at all times.
Knowing that many departments across campus have various events scheduled and guests planning to visit, Parking Services is directing those visitors to alternative public pay-to-park lots (noted to the right) during the Euclid Parking Garage closure.
The CASE building is slated for completion in November.
