The Boulder Campus Staff Council elections will occur within the next few weeks. Staff Council is a vital governance group for CU-Boulder that works hard to improve both the CU-Boulder campus and the Boulder community at large.
Staff Council administers and coordinates the activities of numerous service committees, including the many Bonfils blood drives on campus and the annual campus coat drive. Staff Council also invests time and effort to recognize and appreciate the hard work of all staff with the annual fall breakfast and the spring luncheon.
As its elections approach, I ask all classified and professional exempt staff to consider becoming involved with Staff Council. Further, I encourage all supervisors to discuss the importance of this service with their employees and to provide the support and encouragement necessary for such service.
