You can help save a life. Schedule your appointment to donate blood on the CU-Boulder campus. You might think that Bonfils has enough blood donor support to maintain the blood supply, but in fact, the need for blood is constant. Bonfils Blood Center needs thousands of blood donors each week to meet Colorado's needs and to be prepared for unexpected events. All blood types are needed and we welcome new blood donors to join the Bonfils family.

Mark your calendar: 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday June 25 and Wednesday June 26 at the Bonfils Bus on Colorado Avenue near MCDB. Schedule a convenient time to donate blood, or walk-ins are welcome. Schedule online: Visit www.bonfils.org, and use reference site code 0248 when searching for donation location. Schedule by phone at 303-363-2300.

If you're unable to donate at this time, drop by the Bonfils Center, 3113 28th Street, (303) 363-2300. Donate under code 0248 to give credit to CU-Boulder's total donation count.

For phone questions, call Bonfils' Donor Relations department at 303-363-2202 or 800-365-0006, option 1.

Did you know there is another way you can save lives? Each year thousands of people are diagnosed with diseases like leukemia and lymphoma for which a stem cell or marrow transplant could be the only cure. About 70 percent of these people are unable to find a donor match within their family and must search for an unrelated donor on the Be The Match ® Registry. Join the registry through Bonfils' Colorado Marrow Donor Program. It's easy and saves lives.

Thank you for passing this on to friends, colleagues and students.
