Chancellor's Corner: SUCCEED Health Assessment deadline extended to April 5

Published: April 3, 2013

The deadline for the friendly Be Colorado SUCCEED Health Assessment campus participation rate competition has been extended until this Friday, April 5, and it’s a good thing for the Boulder campus. We currently trail all the other campuses with only 13% of our employees participating thus far. We’re also still below our 14.67% participation rate from the last campus competition, and I thought we could easily meet our goal this year of 25%.

I am personally committed to a culture of wellness at CU-Boulder, and completing the health assessment is a great way for all of us to show our commitment. Completing the assessment is a requirement to earn incentives through the new Be Colorado Move. program, a program designed for our healthy campus. Participants can earn $300 a year to meet baseline movement goals of 30 minutes or more of moderate to intense movement 12 times per month.

When you complete the assessment, you will also be automatically entered into a drawing to win one of 12, $300 airfare vouchers.

We have a few more days to put the Boulder campus on top. Complete the confidential health assessment today at and help us win the campus competition.
