Two teams of University of Colorado at Boulder MBA students will debate Sens. Barack Obama and John McCain's economic platforms in an Oct. 28 event sponsored by the Leeds School of Business.

Richard Wobbekind, noted economist and director of the school's Business Research Division, will moderate the free, public event to be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Leeds School of Business Koelbel Building room 210.

The teams will address and clarify the economic platforms of the presidential candidates, including their proposals on taxes, deficits, economic stimulus, mandatory spending and international trade.

The debate will be followed by an open question-and-answer period.
