The Women in Engineering Program at the University of Colorado at Boulder has scheduled two Engineering Career Days for High School Women this academic year.

The all-day programs on Tuesday, Oct. 5, and Saturday, March 4, will introduce ninth through 12th grade women to the field of engineering and engage them in hands-on demonstrations and activities. Participants also will hear from professional women engineers and meet current engineering students.

Activities will be held at the Engineering Center on the CU-Boulder campus. Parents, teachers and counselors also are welcome to attend.

Supported by a grant from the RGK Foundation, Career Day registration is $7.50 per person, including lunch. The deadline for registration is approximately 10 days prior to the event -- Sept. 24 for the first day, or Feb. 21 for the second day. Each Career Day is open to 125 participants.
