CU-Boulder's I.D. Card Logo Wins Design Award

The Publications and Marketing office at the University of Colorado at Boulder has won a 1997 national Circle of Excellence award for Visual Design in Print from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.

The publications office received a silver award for its Buff OneCard logo. The silver award was one of 21 given by CASE in its annual competition.

The Buff OneCard logo consists of a line drawing of a buffalo with “Buff OneCard” in bold type underneath. The logo has appeared on informational brochures, marketing materials, advertising, T-shirts and other products.

The card is a new campus I.D. card for students who can use it to make purchases on and off campus and to access information on their student records.

Publications and Marketing staff worked with the Office of the Registrar to develop the marketing campaign introducing the Buff OneCard.
